Accutrigger Malfunction

Sadly, rotating the bolt didn't help much at all for me! You are right, Savage are ruining a good product with that joke of a trigger. Can you imagine being in a combat situation and being told that you can't wear gloves, and that you can't be swift with the bolt throw, or even microscopically shift your trigger finger from side to side, or even be nervous? -- 'cause the rifle will fail to function!? I suspect no military in the world would look at a set-up like that!

I'm going to go ahead and say that it really isn't meant for 'combat'.

Can you imagine being in a combat situation

lol What combat do you think YOU'LL ever be in with your Savage bolt action!!! I'm sure there are a few out there that have some engagement issues but the majority are a far better trigger than what Remington, Weatherby, Mossberg and many other companies are using.

My point simply was that it certainly wouldn't pass a military rigour test.

An analogy. You know... triggers that don't work when you need them to.
I suppose I could have used a charging Rhino analogy ;)

I still find it funny that my 400$ Ruger with the Ruger version of the accu trigger dosent lockup when side pressure is applied... People say Ruger copied Savage... Well I think Ruger improved it ... lol....
