I'm a lot confused by this Level 2 :
Level 2:
Permission to create and post ad: the member must have already obtained a positive trading feedback from an existing member and have a minimum of 45 days of activities in the forum.
how do I achieve Level 2 if I can't post anything and receive a positive feedback from an existing member?

It doesn't say you can't post anything; it says you can't post an ad. You're still expected to communicate and participate in forum conversations.

I didn't realize that new folks needed to participate for 45 days; that's a long time for those who joined this morning hoping to have a dozen ads up by lunch time. There still seem to be numbers of long-established members who have been part of CGN for years, have dozens or hundreds of transactions...but have never started a thread or partaken in a conversation. I wonder how many of those folks would have bothered to continue if our current rules had been in effect when they joined?

I agree the 45 days is a bit steep....
Given the time we live in botts might disagree though, lol.
Does buying a Team Membership expedite the ability to join the EE ?

So just to clarify, you can not sell anything for minimum 45 days and you have a level 2 clearance. And you need a positive buyer rating? I am new as well and it all seems confusing on how you get the right clearances.

Apply, Participate, buy a few cheap items and be patient. When I joined the requirements was 3 posts in 3 days and you had to be active for a week I think. It still took almost a month for privledges. The only thing you’re gonna find on the ee is a cheaper price than a store MAYBE. If you need something so bad you can’t wait 45 days go to cabelas.

I am hoping to sell a couple rifles.

I know of many who’ve been scammed on gunhost. The prices on there seem higher than here also. Potato potato I guess

What happens when I purchased items, but the seller doesn’t want to rate me, because it “tracks their commerce” to the government I guess?
Buy something else?

Stoller i think has over 1000 feedback but like 1 post.

Exactly. Buying doesn't if you bug something from any reasonable seller you’ll receive feedback. If I had a transaction and didn’t receive feedback I’d contact the member. I personally don’t care if the government tracks something I’ve bought or sold. If the country gets to that point we are all fxcked royally. Trader rating does matter.
Not sure how I managed to put my post and appear as remlins Ooops

Soon there will be groups of new users communicating with each other and leaving feedback for non existent deals just to gain EE privileges.

I've been contacted by a couple of new members with whom I'd been in conversation regarding WTS ads I had posted. Neither of them had actually purchased anything from me, but both wanted to trade feedback ratings with me in an effort to circumvent the rules and kickstart their CGN memberships. I could understand their desire, especially now that I learn that it takes 45 days, but...CGN is Greentips' house, and he gets to set the rules for visitors. I don't think there's any hidden agenda involved...although I sometimes wonder if by not suspecting a conspiracy or a liberal scheme or some other nasty surprise I am sorta going against the flow around here. The rules are in place to improve security on the EE, and I'm not about to start participating in ways to work around them.

Joining CGN to sell a rifle fast to raise a quick $750 is understandable but also if $750 will make or break you financially, there's other things in play.

Gunpọst and town post are instant alternatives to CGN for selling.

Sometimes people.lose sight ifvthe factvthe CGN is firstly a discussion forum and the EE is just a part of the site but not its primary purpose.

The CGN software is not tailored for buy and sell.
Just like Gunpọst isn't tailored to be a discussion forum.
