Any body have any experience with either of these? It,s going on su 16 fx , To be used for coyote and playing. My eyesight not the greatest.I have ghost ring fibre optics on my 30 30 and can hit 6 inch plate at 100 no prob.I would like to be able to shoot out to 3 or 4 hundred yards .I do not want a variable,

ACOG is decent - my personal favorite is the TA33 (3x30) series. VERY compact and lightweight with choice of reticles.

HAMR is heavy and expensive. I played with one and found it nice, but for the price the Specter is a better value (IMHO).

Before you said 'no variables' I would have said Accupoint 1-4x24 in ADM mount. Excellent optics and flexibility for a great price.

I think I might go with acog 4x32.INeed the extra magnification.holo piggy back for in close shooting. The only reason I don't want variable is if I'm on 4x setting and need to get to 1 really fast and am under pressure it will take to long. And thank you for the reply,
It was a great help. What I mean by that is I was hunting recently and forgot my scope was on 7 power from range shooting.I walked up behind my house and the moose was 50 ft away standing in some heavy brush. It took me 3 looks to find him in the scope.I would have liked a red dot then.Didnt mean to sound like I was going to war.lol
