As others have said, clean but otherwise leave as is...that revolver's got character (and gorgeous lettering across the barrel, trust me!).

I love those S&W double-actions......I might buy a Schofield one day to sample the single-action side , but for now it's the DA, all the way....


And it's even more special when you consider how much more "solid" the double-actionof those S&W's were than, say, the Colt 1877 ?.....
