I just finished my course, they told us about the tag, applying right after the kill, filling out the tag.....they did not mention anything about getting one with your deer license or anything on draws besides the elk and moose draw...even then all they told us was if you want to hunt them you have to enter a draw.
The course was helpful for a lot of things but being mentored by an experience hunter will help a lot more.... I'm also in the Kingston area so hopefully I can get a tag for something
