HI !

I was on bushmaster internet site.. and I saw the 18,5'' barrel is available:

''Tool-less, quick-change barrel system available in 10.5", 14.5", 16.5" and 18.5" and in multiple calibers''

http://www.bushmaster.com/firearms/acr.asp

Do you think it will be possible to import some of this beauty ?!

Thanks a lot

Probably not for a year.

From Gravel.

There will be two version available from Bushmaster ( one in 5.56 and one in 6.8SPC).
Those were supposed to be released prior but due to several production restraint and the current situation in the US, those won’t be produce this year.

Until further notice, both Sku’s should be launch next year.
We have been burn in the past announcing those high demand product but the current production schedule is changing so often that we could not even confirm when or if it will really be launch next year.

This isn't 'new' to the website as noted... it's been on there for as long as I can remember.

NR conversions from Ian at Herron Arms are sweet... no horror stories at all that I've heard of... I love mine, will likely drop my AR's all together. NR is huuuge for rifles for me.

Do not get your hopes up. BM has had that add up for a loooong time. Next year? maybe. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I would eat up a 10.5 and a 18.5 if they were available. Private imports are possible with a good import/exporter. But I will have better luck winning 649 this year.

As said the website has had that up for several years.

The aftermarket nr barrel from Herron works great. Have not done any accuracy work with it yet but will soon. Will get its first 3 gun match on saturday where I expect it will perform flawlessly.

Hmm coincidence, I may see you at said match with something very similar....:ninja:

An ACR would be sweet, but I think with the buying situation in the States, we aren't going to see any resources dedicated to the Canadian market just yet.
