that is fine because both those lengths will make it restricted/not change the status

you gonna call them up and tell them it is MORE restricted? you have 30 days to report a change. did you document when this change occurred? if you think you hear black helicopters, swap the barrel back once a month.

I mean if you're at the range shooting and CFO come for surprise inspection, well ####
 
Surprise inspection? Like that has ever happened. Besides. You still have a cert for the gun. Nowhere on it does it say the barrel length. You have 30 days to notify of a change. What trouble could you possibly be in?

now they need the carbine handguard on order too, otherwise it'd look stupid to have a handguard longer than the barrel
 
factory poly handguard not wide enough to take it. ask me how i know.

i have both of those aforemention parts sitting in my cabinet still.
 
Wow that ####ing sucks then... Any muzzlebrake will destroy this polymer rifle handguard then

DILLIGAF posted a pic of his 10.5 with poly hand guard....looks like his muzzle easily clears the handguards...unless he cut the poly handguard?
 
See the pics above. The hand guard has only 2 magpul moe slot. Most canadian poly handguard has 3.

Mine has 3.5 because its the rifle length

Just looked at the pic above again. Notice the front top part of the handguard is missing. Spider sense tells me that its cut shorter to expose the gas block and barrel
