ACR Media and Info Thread

Now I know why my 450 Bushmaster wouldn't work.

I did that to an op rod in my 300BLK conversion. Trick is to omit the op rod guide and build a spacer to fill the space to the receiclver, I just cut my second op rod rather than turning it down so I could use the guide. I think it needs to be heat treated again or something if you turn down the profile for the shorter gas system.
I have pics of it posted back a ways in this thread.

Anyone fixed the play between upper/lower ? Something like a modified Accu wedge ?

I read about squeezing rubber bands between receivers, but you have to redo it every time you take it down...

Why bother? Both of mine have had minimal play and it doesn't effect accuracy anyway. Pretty much every rifle that has an upper/lower joined with pins has a little play. Don't worry about it.

Just a personal preference... I like it rock solid.

Looks like rubber O-rings in pins hole will make it. I'll test that

I need some help selecting a good optic up to 600$ range with at least 4-18x zoom for my DMR.

I've been looking at the Bushnell AR Optics 4-18x and Vortex DB Tactical 4-12x.

Considering my limited experience with scopes is there maybe another brand or options?

Also how do you remove the AAC flash hider? It's very tight on there...

Thanks!

Finally got the folding stock for my DMR. Much lighter now.

That is a work of beauty!

Looking at picking up an ACR DMR, with folding stock just like that.
Not really for any practical reason, I just like the look, but if there is weight savings from swapping the PRS with the folding - Bonus!
