8.2 pounds no thanks. Still to heavy if it were about 7.2 pounds I would buy it as soon as it was available again. I don't need the quick change barrel system just give me a reliable, accurate and light carbine dammit.

It's think it's closer to 9lbs, if memory serves. Mine was just over 9lbs bare-bones with the MBUS and an ACOG. An AR15? About 6.5lbs base.

Nope. Pinned or not, the muzzle brake isn't considered part of the barrel. You'd need an 18.5" barrel regardless.

Yeah I wish I could take my AR hunting. But we all know how evil that is.
My 11.5" weights over 7.5 if I remember correctly.
The quick barrel change will be worth it down the road for me i think, once they figure out the 300blk ACR barrels. Coyotes with the 5.56, deers with the 7.62 in the same black gun sounds good.

Funny I was at my local shop (US) picking up my class 3 paper work for my 14.5 inch 870 police and I ordering a 14.5 inch Noveske upper to finish my AR build when I saw an enhanced ACR and they made me an offer I couldn't refuse! The acog is for the AR build, i want to run an eotech with FTS on the acr.

I just noticed, I think in that catalogue the item lines are backwards... The way I read it the top one is the 18.5 and the bottom is the 16.5, but that doesn't fit the descriptions.

Yeah looks like they swapped the barrel length in the description.

Oh and don't mind my taste too much, my iPhone is in a magpul case.
