This has NOTHING to do with any gun you have etc, the question is thus:

They are all equally accurate, pressure resistance, strength, etc, simply which action style would you want?

you cant beat the bolt for strength, accuracy, and reliability all in one package. looks the best too IMO

I picked other. While I like the Bolt and would never give one up for something else, I really like Falling Block and hinged doubles

I like pumps in some guns and bolts in others.

As in.............. I wouldn't want my 375H&H in a pump or my .308Carbine in a bolt

SC....................

In a perfect world Semi, but in the REAL world bolt rules them all, because they are not all as strong, accurate and reliable.

The little tip down Stevens with the 20's ventage Belding and Mull scope was originally a 32 rimfire .

I had a friend completely rework it , change the fireing pin geometry, build a new extractor, and put on a "spare" Anschutz .22 barrel and chamber it for
22K Hornet!!
3 grains of Red Dot spits a 40 grain V max out at 1,457 FPS.
Perfect for tree eating , dam building Flat tails!
25 yard zero makes a ragged 5 shot hole....

If they WERE all equally strong, reliable and accurate.... why would anyone want to use other than a Semi-Auto :?
In the not so perfect real world.... it's got to be a bolt-action

Seeing as how they are all equally accurate, I'd choose the semi... But that's not the case, a semi is rarely as accurate as a bolt, so in the real world, I'd choose a bolt...

My fun guns are semi's, my work guns are bolts...

Cheers

Don't get me wrong, all my serious long range TR rifles are bolt actions.

I prefer to shoot single shots , however, not because I think they are better, but because I like 'em.
I mean. how much more classier can a guy bget than ol' Hornhead's Ruger RSI in 7X57!

because it should take only one well placed shot, not five
