Action for 416 taylor

I have built 416 Taylor rifles on Mauser 98's, MKX Mausers, Ruger 77's, Winchester Model 70's, Browning FN's, Remington 700's, Sako AV, Browning BBR, And a Browning lever action. All worked fine.

That would be a awesome coastal load. Eat right up to the hole.....big bear medicine.....in the alders.

Never had good luck with hornady brass. I wont buy a cartridge that is only supported by hornady if i plan to reload it. The 2" american i can use any belted 375hh offspring. Thats the big draw for me. And a rifle much lighter than my 458wm to play with lighter weight 458 bullets

If i were to use a 98 action what all would i need to send it to someone to rebarrel? Go gauge no go gauge. Chamber reamer?
Im familiar with the savage barrel nut system and prefit barrels.
