Action shooting comps to the border in the USA along SW Ontario?

Yep, thats us.

NY State law is very particular about AR configuration - no collapsible stock, mag restrictions and the like - so every one of our firearms including shotguns with tubes that held 5 rounds were inadmissible to NY under any circumstances stopping, not stopping, driving through.

That is the explanation we received

I've competed in several US matches.

Michigan is great. All the major matches are posted on the USPSA site

Thanks for the links and info Trac. Michigan seems like to state to go to. Wish I lived a little closer to there but oh well, should be worth it after shooting their 250+ round matches.
