Ah, so it's about having a convenient drive rather than making factual comments.



About an hour, depends on where in the city you're coming from/heading to.

Its also a lot cheaper then most Alberta ranges as well.

On Van Island and in BC in general you can shoot all year long and there are Far more events in BC then alberta, sanctioned or otherwise.

They've got a nice facility there, and it's only going to get better with the action shooting range. Even though I live in Edmonton, I still like the drive out there. Something about an easy 1 hr drive that just gets you in the mood for some shooting.

Great news Rob, thanks for the update on the improvements.

Happypillz, you should look around more. With IPSC, IDPA, Service Rifle and several different 3gun leagues there is not enough time to shoot everything that is offered in Alberta.

Seems like Camrose is the only Action Shooting Friendly place in Alberta. I will most definitely become a member.

I am new to action shooting sports and even I have shot them at four different ranges in Alberta.

We had the CFO come and inspect the new action shooting range last Thursday. He is reviewing our draft range rules we have made up. Hopefully next week we will get the approval.
