okay i just pulled mine out to refresh myself with it. Seems to me that if you short stroke it it will not lock closed. try pulling the slide all the way back with a little authority then closing the action. My first thoughts however is that it is time for a complete disassembly and cleaning. Is this the one that was in the EE open to offers? if so message me I maybe interested. Let us know if this helps regardless though and I'll keep playing with this one and see if something comes to mind.

AHHAAA check the slide release for full function, seems that if it depressed even the slightest amount the action will not lock closed. clean it oil it and retry it. Push out the pin in the side of the reciever and remove the trigger group, check for needles dirt or even rust and or a broken spring on the slide release button.

I had the same problem with a 1300, the guide rails were continually a problme, it would jam and eventually not work at all.

Get rid of it, I spent as much at the smith as I did to buy mine.

did you buy it with the pieces taped to the barrel or did you replace the pin?????

was it not for sale in the EE as a parts gun, if I recall it was and open to offers.

Deep six it as it is a 125 dollar shotgun in working order and the money to maybe fix it will put you over the price of a new one, unless I am mistaken and you got it from someone else and it has sentimental value. Best of luck either way.

If it helps I can disassemble mine and take good pictures for you to compare to.

Is the ejector thingie (flat metal spring on the inside of the receiver, opposite the ejection port) seating fully and not binding with the barrel?

i cant see anything wrong ... maybe i'll just take it to a smith and if it costs to much sell off the parts ...

btw it was just a throw in on a trade so im not losing much if io ahve to dump some $$ into it ...

Are the firing pin and the steel bottom plate (a tab on that plate references the firing pin location) in their correct positions?
