I recently came into a bunch of reloading stuff and included in the deal was a ton of 12 ga shotshell hulls of various types. I have a large bag of these all plastic Activ brand hulls that from my research are or were hugely popular back in the day due to the ease of reloading and the large capacity of the hulls. I have not sorted or counted them yet but was curious to know what there value is in case I decide that I do not want to use them myself. Though I am thinking that I may try some of them out for 3 gunning.

Thanks in advance.

Activ red hornets were good hulls back in the day . Specialy around the sal####er if you reloaded for waterfowl . There is still data out there for reloading them just not sure if their worth any more than the 10 cents any of the other top quality hulls like AA , gold medal or the nitro and rem premium sts .

They were and still are a dam fine hull for reloading and no problem to sell if you so desire
The 12ga 2 3/4 I agree with rembolt 10 cents is still the going rate when they come up. 3" now is a different matter and worth double that to the right guy
Cheers

I bought a flat of loaded Activ ammo for $22.95 in Missoula, Montana about 25 years ago.
I'm down to my last box now.
I've been using the hulls for reloading for years. Almost out of wads, though.
I use the Activ hulls for my specialty buckshot loads. don't go through many in a year.
I use my AA hulls for normal reloading. I have 2 Rubbermaid tubs full of them.

Nice hulls, long-lasting.
