Whats a good accurate load for the 7mm mag? I am talking mosty about accuracy.

I know that 7mm-08's usually shoot very well with 140gr sierra bullets. Are 140gr usually pretty much the same in 7mm Mag?

What are your pet loads for your 7mm Mag up to 175 grain.

Thanks

Right now I am using a 160gr Accubond behind 60.0 grains of IMR 4350 doing 2900 fps. Very accurate. However, my COL is a little longer than most and hence I think that this is a huge factor in that accuracy.

I am shooting 175 SMK's with a very stout load of Retumbo. At 3000 FPS I get 5 shot groups in the .4's at 100 yards and 2" groups at 300 yards. With the heavy bullets try a slowww powder!

for the older 175 grain Nosler semi spitzer in 7mm I use 66.0 grains of RL-25 for a velocity average of 2800fps

For the 160grain Nosler Part.I use 61.0 grains IMR 4831 and have good results.

I did take a cow moose this year at 267 yds with the top load (175g)
