I’m seriously debating upgrading to an A&D fx120 with autotrickler. I mostly shoot long range so consistency is what I’m looking for. I typically use varget and N560 for powders. I have a few questions before I make the jump.

1. Where to order from being that I’m in Canada?

2. Is there any upgrades that I should consider?

3. Is there anything I should know before making the jump to the A&D 120?

If you want to source the scale separate, you can purchase the trickler from Adam’s site direct. Lots of places sell the scale direct.
He has a link to his distributor that sells the combo direct.

There should be a link in Adam's website to cambridge enviro. I think you can order the trickler and scale at the same time from them.

You will not get it before 6-8 months.
Be prepared for the wait.
My order was placed in late August and it should be shipping around March.

If you want consistency then why are you looking at a cheap milligram balance when you should be looking at an analytical balance that is ten times more accurate. Forget the gimmick automation, spend the same price on a better scale. Learn about linearity.

Is there any such thing as too accurate? Not if you seriously shoot long range.

Guys argue that they don't need such an accurate scale, that's like saying they want to use a model 94 Winchester in a bench rest match.

Here's one on Amazon for $769, just make sure it can display in grains.

Here's one for $935

This one states +-0.2mg linearity... thats total accuracy spread of 0.009 grains. Milligram scales are more like accuracy within 0.08 grains.

Just stop.

The V4 is supposed to have corrected some minor bugs with the V3.
Looking forward to hearing some reports once they start shipping them out...
