Adams SXS

A friend has an Adams hammer gun. Marked with a london address and nicely engraved. Damascus barrels of course.

What I can find seems to suggest that this was John Adams business. He built the last of the Adams pattern revolvers.

Any ideas on sources for more information would be greatly appreciated.

I believe it was Robert Adams who built the shotguns from 1863-1892. Mine is hammerless but that was the maker of the few Adams shotguns that I have seen. The adress would help though.
