stumbled upon one of these a while back and thought it might be nice to try one out.
i have been adding them to my 1911's over this last year and thought they might work just as nice on the old M&P.

so if anyone else is wondering how they look, here it is.
this is the Canadian Made Magloc magwell.
took me all of about 10 seconds to put it on the gun and its nice and solid.

I like it. Does it serve a purpose? It looks like it may make for a more secure grip.
Where does one go about finding one in Canada?

its nice because it gives that little lip to the bottom of the grip so my hand knows where the bottom is without looking.
it flares open the bottom, i believe they say it adds 50 or 58% to the bottom or something like that, basically it gives you a slanted in cone to make it easier to drive the mags in with the quick changes.
seems to work good, i was playing with it all last night and was slapping them in without looking what seemed to me to be faster.

that magwell cost me $25 and like $7 for shipping (??) and i got it right from the guys that make it off their website.

I had one of these on my M&P for about 2 years, and honestly, I don't think it aided in loading at all. It wasn't a hinderance, but it isn't big enough or tapered enough to allow it to really guide in the magazine.

Wold you sell it then?

Sweet pistol Wayup. I put one on my M&P as well. I like the feel of it against the bottom of my hand. It feels more secure in my hand.
