Addemdun to SxS pictures

Found a 12ga Merkel 47E at a recent gunshow. I usually don't go for 12ga guns but couldn't resist this. Shot 2 rounds of skeet with it today -- it likes me. Had to share some picts. Hmmmm, might have to amend my signature.

Hi Sharptail,
The Barrel length is 28" and by my scale it goes at 6lb 10oz. I added the bumper and as I do on all my double trigger guns. Although I'm 6 feet tall and weight around 220, I have smalish hands so if I don't install a bumper my didlin finger gets beaten up -- can't have that can we

FWIW, while it has a pistol grip + swivels there is a nice looking Simson & Suhl 16ga sxs with a set of 20ga bbls that has been listed as in VG+ condition - Gobles Firearms, London, ON - October 2009 firearms ad.....price? well, that's where the great question from Shakespeare's "Hamlet" come into it's own

Very nice indeed.
I had a similar one in 16*ga. that I sold to my hunting partnerbut it had swivels and pistol grip.
He still has it and loves it.

I looked at that gun yesterday. The 20 ga barrels were made by Nick Makinson probably worth a $1000 or more. Very nice gun.
