What are my options to adding some extra grip it the forend of my new Dagger SAP6 shot gun?
I know i can stipple it but that would the last thing i want to attempt.
Ideally some type of spray to give a Hogue like overmould feel.

Any suggestions? Was going to try gravel guard or bed liner.
My wife just suggested sand blasting to rough it up as well.

Bedliner would work but you’d want to put a clear over it because it’s hard to clean as is. Krylon makes some texture spray just make sure to prep it well!

I have used the Spray Grit before with great success

Years ago I used "make it stone" spray paint on a 10/22 stock. After playing with it, it has the same texture that my HS precision remington700 stock has.

Ill look for the Krylon. Have had good experience with their other paints.

I just ordered a new forend with a built in rail. So im ging to try it with a vertical grip.

I suspect that much of the success, esp. when applying to plastics, is good prep- cleaning the area to be coated with brake cleaner or isopropanol alcohol to remove any trace of oils or release agetns used in the moulds.

Can you add some grip tape to it? I’m not familiar with the sap6 forend but I’ve used grip tape on a polymer pistol with great adhesion results.

This- I used some on my M305 synthetic stock- that thing is way too slick. The grip tape cured that.
