stick a coat hanger (or other long slim item) in the hole, measure the lenth on the coathanger , add 1.5 -3 x the diameter of the bolt. go to cambodia tire and buy one!

I agree that this is getting way too complicated for a bolt! But, Canadian tire really sucks for hardware. Try a Fastenal, Napa, or other similar commercial hardware store.

I have found out the bolt is 5&5/8" x 5/16" x 18 thread count. Gonna head to Fastenal after work.
