Additional deer tags (Ont)

Beef do you hunt alone?

If you're asking me....Yes I usually hunt alone...:)

But one of my relatives has been coming out the last two years for shotgun...A complete disaster. :(
1. can't get up on time (usually hungover, 3 hours of sleep etc)
2. NO scent control
3. smokes like a chimney (in MY pop-up )
4. wanted to bring his dog to keep him company!
5. shooting at trees/squirrels when he's bored
6. getting out to stretch, like its a yoga class
Etc. Etc. Etc. I could go on but I think you get the picture.

That is why I like to have more than 1 tag...So I can hunt the whole season, and not tag out early. Even though I would never harvest more than 1 buck/ 1 doe.

Exactly. I dont care about shooting more than one. I care about being able to stay legal in the bush after the fools have gone

That is to bad for you, a great bunch of guys makes for a great week of hunting. Why would you only harvest one of each if you have more available tags?

Don't you use your ML during the regular (Nov) hunt?

Missed your lately archie126, I take it you've been busy with the bridge fiasco. ;)

No, I still like my shotgun, rifled barrel, scoped work's awesome. Glad I decided to go for moose this year.

LMAO
i think every group has a guy or two like that.

Dont care who they are.

I hunt for the experience of it... usually "trophy" hunt.
When you spend as much time in the bush as I do, patterning, locating, and harvesting the "Big One" is like a chess match...me against him.
If he outsmarts me one year...the next year is an even bigger challenge. :yingyang:

If I want meat...I can go whack a steer. ;) One, maybe 2 deer a year would be more than adequate for my sausage and chops obsession. :D

Tracker You know I am the buck master, many are called few are chosen,If the horns would get out of the way I could get my fawn tag filled.
