Just starting my first project build, and was curious what hardware/adjustable cheek system most people prefer? Thumbwheel or screws? My Robertson stock has the option for an adjustable cheek riser, (and I'll probably go with Roberston anyway) but was curious what else people used.

I like the locking screws over the thumbwheel. It makes for quicker adjustments when going from 300m then over to the 900m range. I shoot iron sights, however if shooting scoped rifle you may only need a slight cheek piece adjustment if any, so the thumbwheel would be the way to go.
One thing to keep in mind is if the cheek piece will be in the way when cleaning. With locking screws, you undo them and drop the cheek piece out of the way or remove it altogether. With a thumbwheel you have to wind it down.
