Adjustable Mosin M44 front sight?

Yes, my M44 is so equiped. Follow the instructions. The new post I made from a finishing nail spun in a drill with a file to get the right diameter. My post did not end up being as high as the one in the instructions but I started high and filed my way down to where it matched the loads I like the best. A friend of mine did most of the work he has a lathe and a decent drill press. The hardest part was getting the screw but my friend found a mail order company that specialized in small orders of tiny parts. Thank god for friends.

And it works great, and hits point of aim at 100 yds.
