Adjustable or standard mec charge bar?

I picked up a 650 latley and it has a 1 1/8 oz charge bar but I want to load 1 oz too. It came with a old adjustable bar without the rubber insert and I found it shears of the lead shot and works hard. So I use the 1 1/8 standard bar but when weighing shot its 9 grains over what it should be but works flawless.

I don't like the adjustable bars and for lead will only use the newer fixed ones with the white nylon insert and make sure the brass washer in there under the bottle washer. A new 1 oz bar is not expensive but make sure you get the one for a progressive 502 I think
9 grains on lead shot is nothing.

Ok the 1 1/8 One i have has white insert. I was gonna post the adjustable one forsale or trade for a 1 oz one.

My adjustable has no issues with metering lead shot.
It also will meter any amount of shot and any amount of powder so am happy with it.
If you want a new rubber insert the company in missasaga sells them

The zinc insert ones are usually a night mare in the progressive machines like a 9000g and with some of the finer powders
Work fine in a 600 etc. Just from my dealings with them
