my 75 year old Mossberg 42M .22 has a simple and very effective trigger adjustment.Given the new .22's have some gosh awful triggers,likely due to legal implications, why doesn't every manufacturor have a trigger adjustment screw like the old mossbergs did?.My 40 year old marlin has a way nicer trigger than my new one.Triggers seem to be the main complaint with new rifles-it isn't rocket science to fix it and it can't be THAT more expensive to incorporate into the manufactoring process
