adjusting optics

Im new to optics and got a Falcon menace 4.5-18-56 . It doesnt come with any instructions , just an allen key . I was wondering what it was for ? I ve zerod my rifle and was wondering if i could remove the cap so i can allign the zero to the 1st 0 notch ? Sorry for the bad explanation ...

That allen key is to remove your turrets and line up the zero with the indicator mark. Just loosen the small Allen screws and rotate the turrets to line up the zero and re tighten the screws.

That s what i did but i was affraid to disrupt my settings because its still clicks . thanks for the info

Tried it and it doesnt work . Took the screw out but turning the knob still changes the settings .

lift the knob completely off the scope and then re install with the marks where you want them..

There is a male spline on the turret and a female spline inside the cap. There will be some resistance when taking off the cap because there is also an o-ring to seal it up. Take it off and zero it. Be careful when installing the cap to line up the splines or you may wreak it trying to push the cap back down.
