my 375 H&H has a 21" barrel where the loads i am using have been tested on a 24". Should I use a faster burning powder then 4350 to get some more velocity in my short barrel. what powder is like 4350 but will burn faster.

From what I have been reading lately, you may not lose that much velocity by going
to a 21" barrel.
The friction drag on the bullet that you will save in those 3 inches will help.

Do you have access to a chronograph to do some testing ??

The powder and load that gives the best velocity in a 24 inch barrel, will also give the best velocity in a 21 inch barrel.

This is a common misconception. The powder that is the fastest in a long barrel will still be the fastest a short barrel. It might have a muzzleblast that curdle milk, and might give you a fireball that you don't want, but it will still be the fastest.

As said above, while there may be differences from different powders, these have nothing to do with a barrel length of 21 vs 24", fastest in 21" will also be fastest in 24". I and others have found the typical loss is around 25-30 FPS per inch- in my case in a .300 WSM and shotgun slugs.
