ADM Mounts and C7A2 upper

Does anyone here know if the ADM mounts (specifically the Recon) will fit on a C7A2 upper without modifications?

They are adjustable for width & out of spec rails, so they will on any picatinny rail as long as they have enough length, and since the C7A2 upper is pretty much an out of the box AR15 upper, I am positive it will fit

IIRC, the C7A2 rails have Weaver mount type dimensions, not MIL-STD-1913. They are not exactly the same (the Weaver mount has slightly wider slots) so some problems may be encountered.

Incorrect.

If the C7a2 is NOT a c7a1 rebuild, it will fit as only the first gen of C7a1 has Weaver rails and not 1913.

My old Aimpoint ML3 with ADM QR mount fit on one of my cheap weaver rail risers (just to test it), you had to unscrew the tension screws a bit more for it to work.

As long as the slots are not too far apart. The riser I had, had a cutout in the middle so the locking "lugs" on the bottom would not hit the cutouts, but I never measured if they would have fit or not.

If it is a "Weaver" rail upper it will have 14 slots -- if it is M1913 it will have 13.

Although ADM will sell to Canada, getting good quality QR mounts is very difficult...
