Advantage arms 22lr conversion for glock? ??

I have AA kit on my G17 Gen 4 for about 2 years and very satisfied with it. I feed Remington Golden bullets and almost no issues. I will definitely recommend it.

I have owned 3 over the years. One for the 17/22 models and a gen 3 and a gen 4 for the 20/21. All of them only ran with certain ammo. I tried plenty of fixes but they never ran very well with any bulk ammo besides Golden Bullets of all things.

I've got one of their 'older' kit mounted on a 'spare' G17 (2nd gen) frame...
- It runs good with just about anything, as long as it's clean. Which means about 200rds with Winchester Wildcat before it need a quick scrub.
- The first few hundred rounds were kind of painful, seems like it was always jamming/stove piping. Once the parts worked themselves in, all is good.
- Mine works best with HV ammo, 40gr bullets.
- If you give it to someone with a tendency to limp wrist... they'll get their fair share of FTE
- It's a good training tool, to build muscle memory.
- Mine is minute-of-pop-can accurate

AA recent model conversion Kit on a Glock 17 Gen4. Works flawlessly. I just clean and lubricate between shooting trips to the Range. I feed it only CCI Mini-Mag or CCI AR Tactical. not a single jam or misfire in a year. Can't go wrong with AA

I had one for my gen3 G17.
While it worked well when clean I found it a pita to swap the kit back and forth and I didn't like how it made my Glock feel as light as a water pistol.
For about the same $$ you can get a dedicated 22lr HG.

It's nice to hit the range and fire off 300 rounds of CCI mini mags for less the the cost of 100 rounds of 9mm. But as mentioned above, your Glock does feel super light and like a toy.

I love the AA kit in my G17 gen 4, it does feel a bit light but I solved that by putting some weights I made from car balancing weights into the magazine, there's plenty of room in there when it is holding single stack 22! I checked the gun itself and the only thing lighter was the magazines due to the lighter ammo.

I've been using CCI blazers and minimags in mine, it loves both of them, no problems at all but you have to make sure the top round is seated all the way back in the magazine before you pop it in or it can FTL on you by flipping up instead of forwards when the slide closes.

The rear sight was a bit tricky to figure out the adjustment but once I got it figured out and sighted in, it's super accurate

Kit works great on Mini mag or federal Champion Blue box, I get the mini mags at Bass pro for 9.95 a box 100.
There is a write up on dressing the mags to work better also,,
And the kits are down to $349. at police Ordnance. too...

I did the mag mods with a small increase with reliability. As for the pricing at Police Ordnance that has been the price for every kit I have ordered throughout the past few years. They always have some sort of sale or whatever.

I like that idea with the weights thanks

I bought one many years ago for my 31. The funny thing was, it says in the directions not to use federal ammo. So I bought several thousand rounds of different winchester ammo. And the only thing that works is federal 525 bulk. And that goes for every damn semi I have except for the Marlins, that eat anything. They are a great kit.
