Advice about S&W model 41 please......

when I took it apart the other day, slide stop/ejector fell off along with broken spring. I understand fitting a new spring is very difficult, and replacing the entire slide stop assembly is a way to go. Could you please direct me to sources? Bownells seems to be out of stock.

I had the same thing happen to me but the spring was not broken it just came out of the frame, I took it to a gunsmith and he was able to put it back into the frame it's tricky.

He advised against just getting the spring but to acquire the slide lock with the spring in an assembly..as it seems to be riveted into the lock as I remember.

Springs don't get fitted. Just replaced.
The slide stop assembly might need fitting though.
Like sillymike says, contact S&W. Contact this guy. He's their warrantee repair guy.
