Advice : Gore-tex hunting boot that doesn't leak?

Is there a Gore-tex hunting boot that doesn't leak? If so I would like to know the model and if it has a camo pattern that's a plus too.
 
All goretex boots will eventually leak but some last longer. I have a pair of Elk trackers that are 5 years old and have been hunted in swamps for elk and marshes for pheasant and are still dry but I suspect this will be the last year as they are showing some wear.

you can always coat them in shoe-goo or some other water repellant. i've done it in the past and it beats spending for another pair after you have broke yours in.
 
I've had very good experience with the Goretex protected footwear by Danner. Buy them a size larger has worked well for me.

They are sold by Cabelas Canada among others, and have camo hunting boots in their product line.

I wear their hikers a lot in the summer, and the water-proofing from the Goretex outlasts the soles.
 
I get the feeling that gore-tex boots are not up to par with gore-tex jackets and pants. I've never had a jacket or pant let me down (I have 2 of each), I'm 110% satisfied with those, but finding a pair of boots up to the same standard seems very difficult.
 
I agree with those that say all gore-tec boots will leak eventually. I'm on my second pair of Redwing's (retail @ around 275.00), the first pair lasted about 5 years and got a lot of use before starting to leak, so I decided to try them again last year.
 
"guaranteed to keep you dry" that is the gore guarantee.
For any gore product being used for its intended purpose that is their promise. Are you wearing a wicking sock to pull the moisture away from your foot to the membrane? As a rule of thumb synthetic socks in synthetic boots, natural fibers in natural boots (wool in leather for example).
Gores website has many tips for maintaining the waterproof quality of the membrane.
Putting any natural waterproofing product like Snowseal is basically sealing the pores of the gore membrane so it will make the boots water proof but not breathe. Use a gore specific cleaner and you should be good to go.
Snowseal on leather is the bomb. I put it on every leather thing I own. I use nikwax for leather as well, it is easier you use compared to Snowseal I find.

Have to agree, tried quite a few over the years and all leak to some degree in my opinion. I like the Danners the best and give them a good coating of the old school snow seal bees wax which seems to help also. Some of mine are over 10 years now.
 
I've given up on breathable/waterproof footwear. I've never had a pair remain waterproof for more than 2 years. I want either leather treated with Sno-Seal (sentimental favourite) which makes them very water resistant but not truly waterproof, or good natural-rubber boots, with or without felt liners depending on conditions. My feet don't sweat too much, so a pair of wicking liner socks under an appropriate weight of wool socks makes rubber boots a comfortable and practical choice for me. I'm very satisfied with the various LaCrosse models.
 
As has alraedy been mentioned there are three types of boots,
1} New boots that are not leaking.
2}Boots that are soon to be leaking,
and finally those old boots that didnt leak last fall but are now leaking like a seive
this season.
Check the warrenty and decide how much dry feet are worth.

You got your moneys worth out of those boots. My Redwing work boots lasted 3.5 yrs, very impressive boots. My feet never got wet.
 
I wore a pair of Danner Canadians for 9 years and hunted through hell and high water. Nary a leak, not even a little. Grip was amazing too. I now wear Danners for duty and for hunting.
