The box wasn't sealed with an anti-tamper sticker or anything like that but it was in new condition and not all beat to hell or anything like that. More disappointed than anything else, and I suspect this is purely an oversight or something that slipped through the cracks for the guys at Wolverine. Stuff happens, and I suspect they will make it right some how just have to give them some time to respond.
I too suspect it may have been mounted previously and maybe returned to the store, or maybe for a demo or display? Dunno we will see. I've always had a good experience with these guys in the past so fingers crossed it all shakes out.
