Advice on changing stock on an sks?

I do not know why everyone wants to make the SKS look like a cheap plastic toy. I did once but learnt my lesson. After buying a TAPCO for my Yugo 2-3 yrs ago I ended up going back to the original wood.

It looks cool on its original wood. If anything just strip the wood and refinish it nice. I think it looks cooler that way.

Plastic synthetic may be lighter and makes the rifle look more like an AR while the wood give it a rustic timeless look & quality.

I don't know how the wood furniture on the Yugos is, but on the Tulas, it was designed for somebody who's 5'4" and starving, so it's uncomfortable for anyone approaching normal size. For me, it would be a pure ergonomics issue.

I understand your point of view..BUT for something I paid 150$ for Id like to have fun with it.. I guess If I bought an original or collectors version I wouldnt touch it either.
