Just spent a couple of fruitless days trying to contact bushnell warrant dept. to find out if and when my scopes will be fixed. I,m bloody tired of being put on hold then transfered to a message center and never having my calls returned. If anyone knows a shortcut or email address that might help it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

My wife spent a pile of time getting some binoculars replaced. I wish we still had the contact info. In the end she threatened to send a letter to 150 of her proffessional and personel contacts outlining the poor service and product Bushnell provided. 4 days latter courier dropped off a new set of binos.
Do it all in writing and my advice is to let them know you are a memebr off of hunting forum with 10 000 canadian members and that you will be posting an account of your troubles on here.

Good luck

Nice, Bushnell is on their "summer hours" so they get off at 12:30 on Fridays.

Anyways I have an order for some binoculars for my company. I received one pair the other day, how ever there are 10 others that are missing. They were supposed to send it air overnight, but they sent it ground with another courier. They have to look into it and let me know.

Finally some info

I finally recieved an Acknowledgment card but it was only for one of the two scopes I sent. Do they send cards for each scope you send them or have they lost one of my scopes? I've continued to try phoning and have faxed a letter but I still haven't heard from an actual person yet.

In my next letter to them would I be out of line if I stated that the facts of this poor treatment may actually find its way to the forums of CGN and that 15,000 plus customers may form a negative oppinion.

Isn't that one of the reasons that we come here - for the good, the bad and the ugly? :D

the best way to get the message thru is to quite buying there products. deal with a company that will give service and back up there product. i quite buying busnell because every time i sent a scope in it took months and every thing was called abuse so you have to pay parcial for the repair. since buying luep, weaver and burris i haven't sent one in yet.

forgive me for stating the obvious, but i think he means quit- no e actually i've found bushnell to be very good at least as far as i'm concerned- look at it this way- can you replace the scope /binos /whatever / for 15 bucks?- 10 inspection fee and roughly 5 to send it in?- they replaced a 3x9 old fella i had that wouldn't zoom with a brand new one- that's pretty fair in my books

Bushnell has replaced at no charge to me a pair of binoculars and two scopes. They have also repaired at no charge one old scope that was not functioning properly.

No service fees, no shipping charges!

No Bushnell bashing here. :D

Still hopeful

Well I'm still holding some hope. Not getting a confirmation card for the second scope I've sent them makes me a little worried since they were both in the same package. Patience is however a virtue so I'll keep my fingers crossed. What I would like some advice on is what can a fellow do if they say they don't have the second scope and I have to try and prove they recieved it.

Well, if they were in the same package, how can they deny it? The only way to make sure is send Express Post with signature, then you have the name of the reciever. Bushnell may take 2-6 months to do anything with your scopes, so don't wait by the door for the mailman....:D

Every dealing I have had with Bushnell service was actually quite good and the personell I spoke with were very polite and helpful.
I think some people are pretty rude behind the phone and it comes back to them
No Bushnell bashing here either!!!!!

Cheers!!

I sent a cheapie banner in that had a bent tube from falling on the driveway. I had forgot about it when about a yr. later a new 6-18x50 showed up. No charge for anything. No very timely, but OK. Mark

Well I will have a report on bushnell service soon

I have a scope about 3 years old a 4-12x40 bushnell trophy I think, that a lense fell out and is now rattling around inside. It was on my 308 and this happened 3 shots into a little competition (haggisfest) so not so good for me.

Lets see what bushnell can do for me
