I am getting my reloading equipment together and plan to start reloading soon. I am reading up about what powder measure to get and it sounds like some of them can be pretty finicky with certain types of powder, or are a pain to do different loads with, inaccurate etc.. Just looking for some advice on what one to get. I am planning on reloading .223 and .308 right now and probably .45acp in the future. What measure would you recommend? And or is it worth it to get one of the electronic dispensers?

Lee Perfect Powder Measure. Cheapest one out there, and the best with extruded powders.
All the other ones are more expensive, but they might be a bit better with ball powders.
I can afford to do a bunch of fiddling around on a $35 tool rather than spending $350 on one that does it for me.
Don't know of many guys that actually dislike their ChargeMasters, though ;)

Had an RCBS powder measure that worked great. I had no complaints even with extruded powders. I would throw a couple tenths under and trickle up for all my rifle rounds. It worked very well, and I did not feel like I was missing anything.

But after I got my Chargemaster, I was tempted to throw it in the garbage.

I've been happy with the Hornady powder measure that came with my LnL progressive. Certainly accurate enough for pistol and rifle. I like that it has both a pistol and rifle rotor and metering assemblies. The small one makes dialing in a pistol charge easier.

I use the Lee powder mearsurer, with very little issue. I use my reloading time as relaxing time, so I do not rush through it like some people. I set up the Lee unit and I balance out every load but most of them are 100 % on the rest I use a powder trickler. If you have the bucks for the new digital units they are fantastic, if you don't have the funds, like me, the Lee unit is great !

HIGHRPM has some good points.
I only differ on your choice of kit ;)
I prefer a RCBC scale, dip and weight every charge.
Just a little slower than those who like near progressive production speed.
So the Green Machine is what I would say and take your time, relax and have fun.
