Advice wanted about 1911A1 type pistol choice.

I have for sale Colt 1991 A1 series 80 in black

So i'm thinking about buying a 1911A1 type pistol. I know about the Norc being a great buy for the money but it seems like it needs tweeking to get it working well.

The alternative I'm considering is a new Kahr made Auto Ordnance pistol that costs about 80% money money than a Norc. Is it worth it? Will it just work as is without any frustration or need to tweek?

Are there any suggestions for another all steel, close to 1911A1 design. pistol to consider? Cost is a factor. At about $600 for an Auto Ordnance, I don't want to go much more.

What Ganderite said The Norc is 100% Colt clone,and most repuputable gunsmiths will work on a norc (most won't touch an AO)!
