Hi, i would like to know if there is (affordable) handgun out there which would be in 40/45 caliber and have .22 conversion kit? (which would be cheaper than getting a 40/45 AND a .22?) I consider getting a ruger mkII/mkIII and maybe a steyr m but i would like to know if there would be handguns with conversion kits for a little less?:yingyang::confused:

Thank you

Only in the ee and you would have to be quick!Good deals sell fast.As for new that depends on what affordable is.I think your better off to save and buy what you really want then to settle for less and end up not being happy with what you bought.

1911

GSG-1911 is coming out as a 22LR for just under 400, then add your preferred 1911 in .45ACP and have TWO guns. that GSG is about the same price as a conversion, and you end up having two complete guns instead of a gun-n-a-half. that way, if you and a buddy go to the range, you can lend him a complete 22 pistol instead of just handing him a barrel & mag and saying "yeah, that's all i've got for ya - have fun!"

that's the approach i'm going to be taking.
