Any one have any suggestions? I know nothing about them, but they look as though they would be fun. Do they make any at an affordable price

Thanks all

That depends on how much you can afford.

Simple night vision devices with low magnification by Bushnell are readily available at Wal-Mart for a few hundred dollars.

Telescopic sights with night vision are less commonly available and there are probably none even second hand for under a thousand dollars.

Scout Basecamp.
This is the NV section of their site http://www.scoutbasecamp.ca/m/n/i2nv

This appears to be their entry level NV scope, at $528.19

They're also a new forum member, so it's not too hard to ask some questions. There's a pretty large difference in the options available, and how they are intended to be used. Some are primarily meant to be handheld, or used on a helmet, but might also lend themselves to other uses.

This one is Russian made

Our Nemesis is US-made and can have either Russian or US tubes depending on which generation you choose.

Some of our other NV units come from Ukraine and France. None of our units or accessories are Chinese made.

The FLIR unit's cores originate in Sweden but go through all their quality control, assembly and inspection in Oregon USA.
