Affordable Red Dot for 10/22

Sparc II, finer dot then Bushnell....100x better warranty.

I have owned both and at half the price I will take the Bushnell any day of the week. The way I see it, unless you are going to step up to an Aimpoint/Eotech I see no reason to spend more than $100 on a red dot.

It's only a .22. What about a no name $30 RD out of Hong Kong?

The TRS-25 would be my "only a .22" choice. They aren't all that expensive.

That works for some, I guess. But when your eyes have north of 40 years of mileage on them, the milky/grainy quality that all of those Cheapo optics possess gets really hard to stare through for any length of time.

Cheap glass is cheap glass. There's a low end that you just don't want to go beyond.

Glass quality in a red dot isn't all that important compared to the robustness of the electronic components. If you have both eyes open, you can actually cover the front lens and still place the dot on target, like the old occluded eye gunsights. One eye sees the target; the other sees the dot. Being able to see through the sight is a bonus.

I used few TRS25 and vortex Spark, decent dots for the money,
But those new Holosun 2moa micro red dots that Armtac brought in look very promising,
50k hours and auto shut off, one battery will last you 10 years.. And it will work well on any caliber, not just 22.

Another vote for the TRS25.

I mounted mine on 45 degree mount on the front right side of my 10/22 so that I can use both the irons and the RD.

I might switch to Tec Sights but only if it is easy to get the factory Ruger front sight to come off the barrel.

I have a trs32 and I really like it
