Alright I've got the date for this month firmly set now as Oct 28th. Registration is 9-9.45 and the match fee is $25

There will be 4 stages, a round count of about 65 for shotgun (no slugs required, birdshot or buckshot will be fine) and 50 for pistol. I cant seem to save the PDF files for the stages as big enough jpgs for people to be able to read them... so send me a message or email and I'll send them to you.

The stages should be really interesting and they make good use of the $1000 in new targets (including a texas star) the club just bought, I’m really excited to try this out so I hope you guys are as well.

If you need some info on where to get shotgun shell holders from, send me an email or message and I'll let you know where the good deals are

Rules and Classes

Score is done by time, all missed targets or no shoot hits will be counted as a 3 second penalty.

Tactical: Any pistol, any shotgun. No optics, comps, shotgun speed loaders or mag fed shotguns

Open: Whatever you feel like doing, do it (as long as you can keep it safe)

He-Man: .45acp pistols and pump shotguns only, all other rules apply from tactical as well.

Revolver: 6 shot revolvers only, shotguns same rules as tactical.

I will also run a law enforcement class if I have at least 4 commit to showing up, Rules for that are you must shoot in full duty gear but you can use your full capacity magazines in your pistols (and semi shotgun if you have one I suppose)

IPSC safety rules apply, so you will be DQ'd for breaking them.

shotgun or pistol will be placed after use, so no sling required and no reholstering on the clock.

no sling required, if you need your shotgun later in the stage it will be staged for you to pick up there.

when placed, guns must either have the safety on or be empty with the action locked open

one note, you will have to start a stage with your shotgun then use your pistol, so make sure your holster is tight enough that it can stand up to all the movement.

drop leg holsters are legal

No holster certification required as always, but you do need to be safe.

well I just got an email saying the texas star and clay targets have shipped, the popper activated clay throwers are already in the mail so everything is coming together. Pending the stuff showing up, we will be doing popper activated clays practice next tuesday

If anyone needs, I have a brand new Winchester SXP (the one with two different barrel lengths) that I can lend. Ill be using my Remington.

Just send me a PM.

Some of those stages look pretty reload heavy.... gonna run a dump pouch for shells myself. Probably not the smartest idea, but it's all I have right now.
