I thought I'd resurrect this post to say thanks to all for the help. I sent the Tango Down vertical grip to my good friend in Afghanistan a few months ago and it fit his rifle perfect.

Today I learned as they were out a BG opened fire on him on the flank. My buddy turned and killed the ####er dead. I hope the vertical grip helped in that. One more month and we'll be fishing and drinking beers.

He's in the upper pay scale. He just doesn't have much time for that so I told him I would. Lately it's been busy. I'll email him and ask about getting a C9 grip.
