Hi !

After shooting my jw20 the shells would not chamber. After examination I found the feed ramp to be rough with a big burr.. Deburred it and now its all shiny.. Should I paint it black or let it be ?

What kind of paint would you use and how would you apply it ?

Thanks

Paint can be worn down etc so it could cause a problem unless it is a silica based, bake to cure kind. So not worth it.
Keep the area clean and lightly oiled and that should be good enough.

I agree with the above. Unless you do it right (bluing, ceracote, nitriding) there is no sense putting a finish on moving/functional parts. Keep it clean and oiled and you'll be fine.
