After getting your Type 81 rifle will you fo business with TI again?

Will you purchase of Tactical Imports? After this Type 81 pre-order pre-order fiasco?

Most ridiculous post I've read..."they have other things to do other then shipping T81's"....
Like what? They needed people's payment in full, up front, in order to place the order as they don't have the scratch themselves.
They had $500,000-$1,000,000 of people's money for a year or more, when it's all said and done they probably cleared $750,000 on this order minimum. Biggest score they ever made, and the one simple thing that was 100% in their control they ####ed up totally.... shipping the rifles out to people.

You do realize don't you that TI is not just in the business of selling Type 81s don't you? You have not even a limited understanding of their financial situation and have no information at all as to the terms of the purchase of the Type81s. They have not f**cked anything up - the rifles are indeed shipping out to people. I got mine the other day. You will get yours. Just grow up and wait.

I guess with your thinking, the only measure of a good business is an eventual product delivery. No expectations of customer service, time lines, communication. You are probably one of those people that think our healthcare is world class leading.
For TI, I would expect as a small company this order will make a large part of their annual business. So yes the T81 deal should have received the attention it deserved and from my point of view and many others, they underperformed in the categories list above.

In a bankruptcy scenario, you would not get all your investment back. No way.

That goes without saying.

Those buyers who paid in full long before the ship set sail took a huge risk, a risk I wasn't willing to take so they should have been rewarded first.

Not the last in first out (LIFO) BS.

I would only buy from them if they were the only choice, I will never do a preorder and their business style of using quarters as targets is just ridiculous.
They like to avoid telling the truth and insinuate everything is on target then after it is missed blame others.
The fact that they don't understand why people are frustrated with them and their BS target dates is the most troubling thing, Backordering a product AFTER it is paid for and saying it will ship next quarter is just shadey AF.
They made a lot of money on this order and had no game plan to fullfill it within a reasonable time frame, they had years to prepare for this.
They need to take a hard look at how they do their customer service and make some serious changes many other industries would have sent them out the door.

Yes, they sell knives too...other then that, they don't seem to have anything else "in stock". I can't imagine the knife sales are taking up so much of their time really.... that they cannot fulfill their duty to ship these rifles out.
They even were able to turn around new orders on fixed stocks faster then they are able to ship all the sold out folders to people who have been waiting over a year.

I see they locked up the other thread after admitting they won't have all the orders shipped out this week as promised. Pretty sad.

Also saying the week ends in sunday lol. What good is even posting that as no rifles are going to be picked up on said day.

As an outsider in this whole fiasco. (I am eating some of my previous words, it was a bit of fiasco) The organization of shipping was not very well thought out. The first orders in should have been the first orders out. That would have pissed me off too.

Exactly. Fifo and I'm shooting my own foot cos I ordered a few months ago.

Why am I not surprised they locked both threads, what a joke.

What if any extra's did you order? Cheese graters still seem non existent and orders with them seem they may ship out last. I haven't seen anyone post a pic of one yet or even mention getting one.

I ordered a folder and a cheese grater , 3 extra mags. Jan 20th. Still nothing..

Ordered a folder, got it, everything fine. Only other business with TI a new, best in the world, Hensoldt RSA red dot sight, screamin' deal at 50% off. Accessory not available at time sight shipped was shipped separately later.

Looking at the mag debacle on TI's board, and now I'd vote No even though I didn't order a t81. I mean, Pre-Orders are always a bit of a fiasco, but the whole "we don't have enough mags" is the last straw. They would need quite a huge discount to get my business.

Well I finally got my T81 folder and on inspection it's all there. I would say there was one issue, that I resolved on my own. But I will say the issue could have been resolved with minimal quality control at the factory level or even TI level. I won't know if it functions properly until I get to the range. But the issue was frustrating for a new rifle and I have never seen such an issue before. Unless TI is the sole distributor of parts kits or magazines, I will have to deal with them if there is anyone else, I will do business with them.

They had mags before the mag pimps awed them with their credit cards. #magwhoreders :)

LMAO, so pathetic!!!!

Actually no they didn't as they wouldn't have oversold them off of their own website now would they then

but keep crying on what others can afford cuz you are to cheap and obsessed with your whole ideology about price pimp (yet you think cuz I sarcastically said I would pay 3500$ for something 2000$) shows how much you play off what I say with your constant jealousy of what others want and can afford to play with while acting like a #whiningschoolgirl

LMFAO, jealousy sits on you pretty good.

Think I'm starting to smell your #teenspirit now

Hahahahahhahahahhaha keep crying cuz your views are valueless but I think it's funny as #### your constant #whining

#TIGER BLOOD #WINNING NOT WHINING
