After market stock for Stevens 200 long action

Hey all. Looking to rebuild my Stevens 200 centerfeed 2506 this year. Other than Boyd's what is everyone using for an aftermarket stock?
I'll be rebarreling to a heavier longer barrel as well so I need something that will take a heavier barrel. Right now I'm open to any ideas
 
Doesn't the 200 have a similar pattern as the rest of the Savages? It's been a long time since I owned a 200 but IIRC they were simply a less refined Savage 110? So amybe any stock will fit? Don't quote me on it though.

Its not similar. I think its the same. Have a Stevens 200 short action and threw it into an MDT chassis no problems.
 
I have a centerfeed model. Not sure how it will feed thru aics mags in a long action as the factory mag is in the stock

Some savage patterns state they will or will not work with either centerfeed or staggered feed patterns

Forget that it's a Stevens, think of it as a Savage Model 10/11 with no Accu-trigger.
I've got two SA Stevens 200's both in MDT chassis products. The first was a pencil barreled, blind magazine, .308 that was put into an Oryx chassis, I spent a long time researching and deliberating over whether it would work or not, top vs bottom bolt release, center feed vs staggered feed, will the AICS magazine cause issues?? I just bit the bullet and ordered it, best decision I could have made! No issues whatsoever and I love it.

Then I got a chance to try the MDT Field Stock for Short Action Savage, I jumped on it without even thinking! Installed it on my 6.5CM without any issues.

As with anything you read online, YMMV, but both MDT products worked flawlessly for me.
 
I have 3 MDT lss chassis set ups now. I don't mind going that way again if the aics mags will work with 2506.
I was just curious if there was anything else out there I was missing for a long action
 
Yeah I think centerfeed is 4.4 spacing. Its either 4.27 or 4.4.


EDIT: Sorry missed the long action part. I think there was only one for that. Measure the bold spacing and that will tell you what you can buy.
