i have an older a bolt(dont know exactly how old it is but i would say atleast 10-12 yrs) and i am just wondering what options i have for an aftermarket stock as i just dont like how mine feels and handles. I have the synthetis stainless model if it matters and i would like to stay to a synthetic/composite/fibre glass, etc stock
thanks for any info

Nearly all the aftermarket stock makers do an A-Bolt stock. A net search will turn up lots of sites for you to have a look at 'em. McMillan is one. They make a varied assortment of finishes(colours and camouflage patterns) too.

ya i dont really like the gun myself but i dont have the money to go buy the gun i want and the abolt just doesnt feel right in my hands, i like remmy and tikka and the abolt just isnt them. so the next best option i have is a new stock and maybe i can get use to the action over a couple more years

a decent fiberglass stock will probably run $500-600, about the price of a new Tikka T3 :) or a Remington 700 SPS

a j cave you want me to file down the existing stock that i think is to light and while i want a stock that is alittle "bigger" with a raised cheek piece? doesnt really make sense to me
