I have been looking in purchasing an aftermarket barrel for my Glock 17. I was hoping to improve some on the accuracy as well as having the ability to shoot lead through it. I know Lone Wolf Barrels are drop in, as well as Storm Lake. I have heard different stories about Wilson Combat, KKM, and Bar Sto Barrels require fitting. Has anyone purchased any of these and what are the results over the stock Glock Barrel.

You're new here so I'll be gentle. For starters, factory Glock barrels are cold hammer forged and consist of polygonal rilfing. Both of which contribute to very consistent(read accurate) barrels and slightly faster velocities. Glock says no lead through your stock barrel but it can be done if you pay attention. Watch for lead build up and clean the barrel quite frequently and you won't have any issues. As for accuracy gains in an aftermarket, your best bet is in the "hope" part you posted above. You need to seek professional training before you waste time trying to solve your skill set problem with aftermarket crap. Give your pistol to a very experienced shooter or put it in a ransom rest and see for yourself how "inaccurate" a stock barrel is. That goes for any pistol or rifle.

^^ I agree 100%!! get some good training and learn your gun. My buddies all shoot stock glocks and there's usually one dirty hole after each mag. Practice makes perfect.

I was hoping to improve some on the accuracy....

Everytime I hear/read about someone wanting to improve the accurracy of their HG by buying new parts I can't help but think Hickok45's video on Accurracy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVzSAm5VhfE

He's fun to watch shooting HGs. One of his remarks (IIRC)...."if I can't hit it with this rifle...I'll just shot it with my pistol"
