i picked up a Ruger 22/45 last summer and i must say i really enjoy it.
i really like the choice of compensator i can put on it.
i have a couple already and i find them really neat.
kinda a fetish thing i guess.
i was chatting with my dad tonight and we got to talking about compensator and now im wondering if i can do the same to my Glock or my M&P?
im guessing i would need to pick up a aftermarket barrel that either comes with the threading on it or get a longer barrel and have it threaded by Dlask or someone.
so then the question is.... can a person buy a aftermarket barrel for handguns?
im assuming we can.
so i guess then the question is where would ya get one?
and if you can get one can you get them longer then stock ones to you can have them threaded?
im assuming we can since i see people tricking out their 1911's and adding compensators to them.
anyone have any insite into this?
i wonder if i ordered in a 5" barrel for my M&P is that would give me enough barrel sticking out to be able to be threaded since the stock gun is like 4" + (if im not mistaken)
