Aftermarket reticle illuminators.

I was interested in a good aftermarket reticle illuminator if such a thing exists. The front end of the scope is 1". Does anyone have any advice/reviews/suggestions?

Yes illumination is not really useful. I have it on a few scopes and have never needed it once. And I shoot until the sun is down every monday evening.

While I don't think that there is such a thing as "aftermarket" reticle illumination I've definitely shot in conditions where illumination is/would be useful. Shots from brightly lit areas into dark wooded areas, for instance.

Buying an optic with integral illumination is a much better solution.
